When these guides recommend a local installer, they recommend Boise Bros Detailing. We recommend them because they are us. Boise Bros is a two-brother mobile detailing team based in the Boise Foothills that comes to homes and offices across the Treasure Valley, and ceramic coating is one of the services we offer.
We built this site because the same questions come up again and again: what a coating really costs, why prices are all over the place, whether it is worth it here, and how it compares to wax or film. A dedicated guide lets us answer those properly, without squeezing it all onto a service page.
How we write these guides
- Honest over persuasive. We say when a coating is not worth it, like on a car you are about to sell or one that only sees brush washes. That sometimes means less work for us, and it is still the right advice.
- Real prices only. Prices quoted here are Boise Bros Detailing's published starting prices. Final pricing is always confirmed after an in-person inspection, before any work begins.
- No invented numbers. No made-up statistics, payback periods, or testimonials. Where something depends on your vehicle and how you use it, we say so.
- Local first. Advice is written for Treasure Valley conditions: strong sun at elevation, winter mag chloride, hard water, dust, and the occasional summer of wildfire ash.
- No competitor rankings. We do not rank other businesses or publish best-of lists. If you get quotes elsewhere, our cost guide includes the questions to ask any installer.
